About Us
MINES Resort City
For more than half a century, Hong Fatt Mine was the world's
largest open cast tin mine ever known to man. The miners were
then gone and the machines had ceased operations.
A transformation took place. It is
with a vision and strong determination that this abandoned land
was crafted into a total tourist destination with seven unique
components formed as one entity. What was once a barren and
desolate hole is now a sprawling 150-acre of lake in the centre
of a 1,000-acre development called MINES RESORT CITY.
The transformation
